about me

Hello lovely!

I’m Lisa, writer of Australian rural romances that bring love, mischief and a dash of spice to unsuspecting small-town folk. There’s always a happily ever after for my characters - they just have to work a little harder for it!

After years working as a rural journalist, I now get to make up my own stories for fun. At the heart of what I write is a love of the bush, coast and outback that comes from living and raising my family in a country community and growing up on a farm surrounded by scrub, birdsong and the bluest skies imaginable.

WRITING NEWS

RWA OPAL 2024 FINALIST

I’m excited to announce I’ve been named one of six finalists in the Romance Writers of Australia Opal 2024 competition for unpublished manuscripts. Judges’ feedback on my manuscript was highly encouraging and I’m looking forward to pitching to publishers at the RWA Conference in August 2024.
